I have DACA. Thought I was safe. Driving to San Antonio, hit a checkpoint outside Laredo. Agent asked if I'm citizen. I said DACA. A Dumb move. 2 hours in secondary. At a point this agent goes "prove you been here 2 years or we process your expedited removal." I remembered the checklist from this. Kept a folder in my trunk with lease, bills, pay stubs, my kids school records with my name. I asked if i am free to leave, and on the slightest gesture i left as quick as possible.

That alone was worth it. My friend got detained at a courthouse last month. He went for a traffic ticket and ICE was just waiting there. I don't want that to be me. So 3 stars.
